Additional Comments: "As one might expect from a film involving teenagers in the 1960's, there is plenty of smoking.  Seven different cast members account for 15 scenes of smoking.  Paul Le Mat and Candy Clark were the most notable smokers.  Le Mat not only smoked around a very young Mackenzie Phillips, he also sported an easily visible Camel pack in his rolled-up tee-shirt sleeve.  Members of the Pharoah gang (Bo Hopkins, Manuel Padilla Jr.) smoked frequently, and even a very young Harrison Ford found time to drag on a cigarette between drag races.  There was also a scene in which a high school teacher (Terence McGovern) smoked while chaperoning a high school sock hop; not to worry, as student were shown smoking in the school bather room.  In addition to the Camel product placement mentioned earlier, there were additional scenes of product placement for Marlboro and Winston."
