Additional Comments: "Jack Palance appeared in the movie for a mere 45 minutes, but he accounted for 9 of the film's 14 smoking incidents.   Tracy Walter, as the trail's cook made up most of the rest. However, there were two additional scenes that were quite prominent. The first was the animated cowboy that smoked during the entire opening credit sequence. The second was a scene in which Bruno Kirby purchased Red Man spit tobacco and proceeded to soil a shirt in the shop by spitting all over it. That scene was also notable for both Red Man and Marlboro product placement." target="_blank">Tracy Walter, as the trail's cook made up most of the rest. That scene was also notable for both Red Man and Marlboro product placement."
