Additional Comments:  "There was smoking scattered throughout the film, most notably by costars (JoBeth Williams,  Howard Duff) in various office spaces, which was the social norm in 1979.  However, the most important scene occurs early in the film when Meryl Streep is shown smoking in her home... the home of a young child.  This scene is most notable for the product placement of Vantage cigarettes."
