Additional Comments: "This wonderful film is another example of the unnecessary use of smoking in youth films.  Nine of the films smoking incidents are by background extras in a single party scene involving Andy Warhol (Bill Hader). There is absolutely no need for any of these people to be shown smoking.  The most prominent smoking scene occurs when an alien named Roman the Fabulist (David Pittu) attempts to light a cigarette just before being killed.  Oddly, the matchbook he was using is an important clue, as noted y the young Agent K (Josh Brolin) who notes that Roman 'didn't smoke'.  So again, why use a prominent scene of smoking as a plot device?  At least the film did NOT contain scenes of product placement as seen in both of the film's predecessors: Men in Black and Men in Black II.
