The comments were: Beginning with the opening credits, we see a drawing of J. Jonah Jameson smoking a cigar. As with the first film, J.K. Simmons (as J. Jonah Jameson) smokes a cigar in two scenes during the movie. In addition, Alfred Molina (Doc Ock) smokes a cigar in one scene, assisted by his extra limbs. Background extras were also seen smoking in the streets of New York.
