In this film 31 smoking incidents occured, 28 of which were inside and 3 of which were outside.

The film was reviewed by Dr. Barry Hummel on 4/25/2008.

Additional Comments: This film contains the most smoking that I recall seeing in a recently produced film. One can excuse some of this, given that the film takes place during the years 1927-1947, and several of the characters are historical figures. However, the amount of smoking that occurs in the background in locations such as the hospital and the Senate hearings is not only unnecessary, but inexcusable.
