Additional Comments:  "There was surprisingly little smoking in this film, which takes place in a prison cell block in 1935.  In fact, only one co-star (Graham Greene)  is briefly shown smoking outdoors in the prison yard.  However, one of the film's focal points revolves around the use of a Marsh Wheeling cigar box to create a home for a mouse.  This blatant product placement occurred after the Master Settlement Agreement of 1998, in which the tobacco industry agreed to stop such product placement.  For this reason, the film received a rating of 3 Butts."
