In this film 6 smoking incidents occured, all of which were inside.

The film was reviewed by Dr. Barry Hummel on 7/28/2008.

Dr. Hummel posted the following additional comments:

"Pierce Brosnan took over the role of James Bond in 1995 and made four films.  During the first three, including The World is Not Enough, the character of James Bond did NOT smoke.  In fact, Brosnan's Bond made several anti-tobacco comments along the way.

Take this scene, for example.  Earlier in the film, Bond is offered a cigar by a corrupt banker.  Bond tucks it into his pocket before mayhem ensues.  When he arrives back at headquarters, he tries to pass it off as a gift to one of the secretaries, Ms. Moneypenny:

Sadly, the anti-tobacco messages of the early Brosnan/Bond films give way to the cigar-smoking character seen later in Brosnan's last Bond film Die Another Day."
